Oh, and the WaterPORT 15 Litre Water Tank? It lets you take pressurised water wherever you need it. 15 litres of water available to you wherever you need to clean, rinse, refresh, or just water something down. Add pressure as you fill it with a standard garden hose, or use the optional Pump Cap to pump it up while on the road. - Q: How strong are the vacuum mounts?
- A: “Strong like bull.” 11 cm vacuum mounts have a rated pull strength of 60 kg, pulling straight out from the centre. Pull strength on a shear load, i.e. pulling from the side, will be less. 15 cm vacuum mounts are rated for 100 kg. Obviously, putting multiple vacuum mounts on a single product multiplies the maximum holding power.
- Q: How long do the vacuum mounts last before they lose power?
- A: There’s no set time limit on our vacuum mounts. It depends in part on the surface you attach to, the condition of the vacuum mount, the load you put on it, and other factors. As for surfaces to attach to, vacuum mounts in general were designed to carry large sheets of glass and other solid surface materials, so smoother, flatter surfaces are ideal. Clean surfaces and clean SeaSuckers go a long way to maximising the hold time. In any event, if the vacuum mount begins to lose some vacuum, it will warn you so you can get it back to full power before it comes off. The vacuum pump’s plunger will extend from the pump cylinder when it starts to lose power, revealing an orange indicator band. Once you see orange, that’s your cue to re-pump your SeaSucker. For car racks, the simplest thing to do is to check the rack before you get in your vehicle, and check it each time you stop for fuel, food, or the toilet.
- Q: Do I need to clean the surface I’m going to attach my SeaSucker to?
- A: Clean off any surface dirt from the mounting surface before attaching your SeaSucker. While you’re at it, make sure the sealing edge of the vacuum pad is clean too. You don’t have to clean the mounting surface with alcohol wipes, as one overly-enthusiastic customer told us they do, but a quick wipe with a wet paper towel or napkin wouldn’t hurt. I live in a very hot part of California, this things been on my truck shell for years in the heat and snow. It still suctions like a champ and the water port still works as it did on day 1. I will always support businesses who take pride in making their product. I also have the recovery board mounts from them and those literally look brand new unlike the knock off boards they hold which have faded to oblivion. Great job guys, I’ve also been asked about how I have these things mounted more than 100 times. People love it.

I didn’t know what to do with how to mount my waterport. I have a mount on my hitch carrier but I didn’t want to take on on my upcoming trip. So I got the the Sea Sucker mount for my window on my GX460 and I have to say I wash very impressed. Super strong and I even hung on it lol. Plus it give me more room in my GX. Definitely a recommend. Also have the paper towel holder as well. Awesome products Sea Sucker.

Sturdy mount to use with the Waterport Tank.
Pleased with this mount which will allow me to transport extra water without taking up space in my van. Will give me an outdoor shower, nut it's not a permanent fixture on my van.

It's time to select the right HUSKE Plugs to fit your bike. If you don’t know what front hub your bike has, it’s not that hard to figure out - all you have to do is measure it.
First, get a ruler or tape measure showing millimeters (sorry Americans, the bike world is firmly in the grip of METRIC TYRANNY!).
Step 1: measure the diameter of the hole at the end of your forks - it will be either 9mm, 12mm, 15mm or 20mm.
Step 2: measure the distance between the holes on your fork - it will be either 100mm or 110mm. Now purchase the HUSKE Plugs that match your measurements. There’s a color coded chart below that will help you make sure you’re buying the right set.
